Our client is currently hiring for a Commercial Property/Building Manager in Kitchener, ON.
 
Commercial Property Manager Duties and Responsibilities:

Supervising and providing direction to maintenance and administrative staff
Participating in the development of annual operational budget and subsequent management of same
Attendance at various meetings during and after regular business hours (i.e. client, property manager meetings, tenant meetings)
Client Management and reporting
Monitor the completion of maintenance work orders & contractor management
Rent Collection, Arrears Management
Lease Administration and Tenant Liaison
Conducting in suite, vacant unit and regular building and grounds inspections
Respond to after business hours & weekend emergency calls
Ensuring that buildings are Code compliant at all times
Ensuring that all City Orders, Fire Department Notices are dealt with within the time allotted
Other assignments within the parameter of the scope of the Property Manager position
 
Commercial Property Manager Requirements:

Minimum 7 years’ experience in commercial property management including knowledge of property administrative, maintenance and customer service practices
Knowledge of various legislations, codes & regulations as it relates to residential building property management
Strong knowledge and understanding of Commercial Building Systems, Maintenance and Capital Projects
Ability to form exceptional Tenant relationships.

Compensation:

110K-130K; Eligible for benefits based upon completion of probationary period. Vacation is negotiable.
