General Labourer (Summer Student)

Adecco has immediate openings for summer students to fill General Labourer positions with a manufacturing client in the Quinte area. This is an opportunity to work full-time hours, to gain valuable work experience by developing and expanding your skills, and to network! To succeed in this role, individuals must be reliable and motivated, be able to work full-time hours, and have prior work experience. If you are a recent graduate, current student with open summer availability, or if you are looking for a summer position, we want to hear from you!
Salary : $14.00 per hour

Primary Responsibilities
- Load raw material into machines and unload finished parts from machines
- Sort product into bins based on size
- Remove defect products and record defects
- Label product for packaging and warehousing purposes
- Perform detailed assembly work to assemble small pieces and parts
- Clean work station and maintain a safe work environment

Requirements
- Completion of secondary school/GED/equivalency and must be able to provide proof of completion
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Availability to work full-time hours and various shifts
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- Must be detail-oriented
- Prior work experience is required and preference will be given to those with experience working in a manufacturing or general labour environment
