IT Security Support Analyst, Bilingual English & Italian

Adecco’s client located in Ottawa is searching for bilingual English/Italian IT Security Support Analysts to join its growing team. IT Security Support Analysts will troubleshoot and resolve technically complex network security issues via phone and web. The ideal candidate is technically-minded with strong troubleshooting skills and is passionate about a career in cyber security. As the selected candidate will provide remote support to both English and Italian customers, fluent bilingualism in both English and Italian (spoken and written) is required.

IT Security Support Analyst Duties:

• Work closely with customers and senior support team to ensure resolution of technically complex network security issues
• Setup test / simulation environments as necessary for replication of customer reported issues and provide documentation on setups
• Ensure customer communication is handled and documented in a timely manner and work performed meets quality standards within acceptable time schedules
• Support customers with a high degree of respect and drive operational excellence through proper escalation of software and hardware related issues
• Ensure successful new technology introductions by continuously remaining knowledgeable on our client’s award-winning products
 
IT Security Support Analyst Requirements:

• Recent graduation from a Computer Systems Technician, Computer Engineering, or related post-secondary program OR Two years’ experience in network security
• Fluent English and Italian written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in Internet security products including Stateful Firewalls, VPN's, PKI, Anti-Virus, IPS, SSL and other security products
• Understanding of LAN & WAN Network topologies, strong knowledge of TCP/IP Protocol Suite, LAN/WAN access technologies, Internet Security Architectures and Routing
• Knowledge of devices including routers, switches, load balancers, and application proxies
• Ability to work both independently and in a team with strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills applicable for medium to enterprise networks
• Strong customer orientation and phone etiquette with an excellent work ethic
• Criminal record check will be completed
