TEST SPECIALIST - INTERMEDIATE

Adecco is currently recruiting for an Intermediate Test Specialist for a 2-month contract with possibility of extension of 4-weeks with our Crown Corporation Client in Ottawa, ON. The successful candidate must hold a valid Reliability Security Clearance.

The Intermediate Test Specialist will have the following responsibilities:
- The project will enable the PIN-based interception and redirection of parcels traveling through Canada Post’s domestic network
- Key responsibilities: Write and execute scripts based on approximately 25 Functional Design documents (New National Trip UI and Web Services to numerous applications)
- Technical environment: Java based web applications, SOAP UI, testing REST web services

The Intermediate Test Specialist must meet the following mandatory requirements:
- 5-year experience writing scripts from functional design documents
- 5-year experience executing scripts
- Experience using HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) or lower version HP QC (Quality Center) for script writing, execution and defect management

Nice to Have:
- Ability to work in globally distributed team including offshore factory
- Ability to work and operate in a fast-paced project and adapt to changes quickly
- Bilingual (French, English)
- Outstanding work ethic and commitment to delivering quality work on time
- Excellent team player, but also able to work independently with little guidance
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong communication skills to work with various functional teams
