We are currently hiring for a Pricing Manager job in Toronto, ON. The Pricing Manager will be responsible for the development and strategic recommendation of national pricing and costing initiatives for both temporary and permanent staffing solutions, including Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quote (RFQ) and Quarterly Business Review (QBR) details. This position will also maintain a database of current market data and work with the field to develop pricing models that will enhance margin while remaining competitive and in compliance with corporate strategies. This role will also facilitate training to the field on pricing recommendations. We are looking for someone with an understanding of statistical methodology and excellent analytical skills, and strong communication skills.

Pricing Manager Responsibilities:


Manages yield management strategy to ensure pricing is based on current financial information, relevant external market data and aligned with Adecco’s corporate goals.
Provides pricing and retention recommendations for both temporary and permanent staffing verticals to maximize margins, improve bottom line profitability and strengthen brand value within all markets.
Analyzes the profitability of current accounts and provides suggestions to improve margins.
Regularly conducts research to maintains a database of relevant market data, pricing history and competitor pricing and develops projection models.
Creates new analytical approaches to meet the organization’s reporting needs related to costing and pricing.
Acts as a subject matter expert for pricing and related reporting and assists with the preparation of RFP’s, RFQ’s and QBR’s.
Creates and implements pricing tools, training and ongoing communication to the field with respect to pricing strategies.


Qualifications:


Completion of post-secondary education in Business/Finance or years of equivalent experience demonstrating progressive responsibility.
A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years related work experience, preferably within a service or sales oriented environment.
Bilingual English/French is an asset.
Proficient in Microsoft Office software with advanced Excel skills. Experience with Access is an asset.
Detailed understanding of statistical methodology.
