Adecco is recruiting for a Technical Writer for a 3-month contract opportunity with a private client based in Montreal, QC. The Technical Writer will be responsible for creating technical documents and manuals, explain complex information in a clear and concise manner and working with pilot staff to ensure accuracy of product descriptions. The Technical Writer will work on pilot training manuals and training aids with SME inputs and Graphics support. Advanced English language skills are required for this resource.
The Technical Writer will have the following responsibilities but not limited to:
- Plan, develop, organize, write and edit operational procedures and manuals
- Research, develop and document technical design specifications and test scripts
- Produce electronic documentation in addition to hard copy manuals
- Maintain a comprehensive library of technical terminology and documentation
- Analyze documents to maintain continuity of style of content
- Manage updates and revisions to technical literature
The Technical Writer must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience required
- Possess a degree or diploma in a relevant field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and InDesign software
- Strong attention to detail
- Team player
- Communicate effectively orally and in writing
- Meet tight deadlines, adapt to changing priorities and address multiple demands
