Finishing Mill/Forklift Operators

Adecco is currently hiring Finishing Mill/Forklift Operators for one of our clients in Orangeville. Our client is a leading plastic product manufacturer who is at the forefront of product development and manufacturing technology. The successful candidate should be dedicated and reliable and in return can expect full time hours and long term employment with a thriving company.
 
Finishing Mill/Forklift Operators Job Responsibilities:

- Machine Set Up
- Milling operations
- Uses computers with a high focus on quality
- Forklift operation
- Follows standards, rules, policies, work instructions, directions

Finishing Mill/Forklift Operators Job Qualifications:

- Must be familiar with using computers
- Must have experience with using hand held tools such as; measuring equipment, tape measures, calipers, micrometers
- Must be able to lift, push (up to 100 lbs on a roller table), pull, pinch
- Detail oriented and good communication skills
- Must possess previous manufacturing experience in a continuous process is a must, preferably in a plastics extrusion environment
- Must have 1 - 2 years of previous Forklift experience. We will provide certification if you have the proven experience.
- Must be able to work 12 hour continental shifts, 1 month of days 7:00 am to 7:00 pm and 1 month of nights 7:00 pm to 7:00 am (36 hours first week, 48 hours second week, every second weekend)
- Must have own steel toed boots
