Adecco is currently hiring for a Case Manager - Long Term Disability in Halifax. To qualify for this Case Manager role, you must have Disability Management and/or Group Benefit knowledge. This position is 9am - 5pm and pays $25/hour.

Case Manager Responsibilities:
• Assessment of long term disability claims including the identification, and analysis of medical, contractual, and eligibility information.
• Development of case management plans
• Communication/consult with claimants, internal/external providers and government agencies.
• Provide technical direction by reviewing and identifying file development needs
Case Manager Qualifications:
• Previous case management experience with an insurance/financial organization.
• Familiarity with medical terminology
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Lotus Notes
• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Solid office administration skills
• Strong customer service experience in a demanding environment
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Influencing and negotiation skills
• Flexibility to balance conflicting priorities
• Analytical skills with close attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Deadline Driven
• Bilingualism an asset but not required.
