Our Client, a distribution center located in Vaughan at Steeles and Islington, is looking for a Warehouse Associate to become a part of their team. This is a long term, full time position with the opportunity to go permanent if you perform well. The hours are 9:00 - 6:00 and it will pay $14 an hour. The resonsibilities will include:
- Order picking various industrial compnents (i.e. nuts, bolts, etc.)
- Packing skids and preparing them for shipment
- Operating tools such as pump trucks, RF Scanners, etc.
- Lifting up to 50 lbs
- Paying attention to detail to ensure orders are prepared correctly
Requirements Include:
- Steal Toe Safety boots
- Forklift license an asset but not required
- At least one year of warehouse/order picking experience
- Willing to learn and take on new tasks
- Team player
- Follows instruction well
