HR Generalist

Adecco is currently hiring a full time permanent HR Generalist in the Quinte area. To be considered for this position, you must have the ability to lead HR practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce. The annual salary for this position is $50,000-$55,000 dependent on experience,
HR Generalist Responsibilities:
- recruiting and staffing logistics
- payroll processing
- performance management
- organization development
- employment and compliance to regulatory concerns and reporting
- employee orientation, development, and training
- policy development and documentation
- employee relations
- local employee communication
- compensation and benefits administration
- employee safety, welfare, wellness and health
- employee services and counseling
- event planning

HR Generalist Qualifications:
- minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, or Organization Development or equivalent
- 3-5 plus years of progressive leadership experience in Human Resources positions
- specialized training in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations, safety, training, and preventive labour relations preferred
- Professional in Human Resources (CHRP or CHRL) certification is preferred, not required
- Manufacturing experience is a must
