Warehouse Shipping/Receiving

Our client in Markham, ON has a full time Warehouse Shipping/Receiving position that they are looking to fill.

Warehouse Shipping/Receiving:

Raymond-Reach certification is an asset (10% of job)
Inspect incoming shipments and ensure both packing slip and physical count match.
Sign off on Deliveries once inspected.
Log all in/out bound shipment info into Receiving Log (i.e. Pkg Qty,skid Qty..).
Identify Classification of shipment (Class 1, 2, or 3).
Document and report any inconsistencies to our Quality/Regulatory agent (Class 1, 2, or 3).
Forward paperwork to Purchasing and provide copies to customer service and reception.
Joining the back orders with any current same customer orders where possible.
Ensure all pick/packed items match the customer’s requirements
Computer literate and willing to learn to use software (UPS system).
Forward packaged orders to staging area for pickup
Pick/pack and build skid orders.
Contact appropriate carrier for shipment pick up.
Provide skid dimensions, weight and destination to carrier.
Create Bill of Lading and provide 2 (1 for the driver & 1 for our records).
Load the carrier vehicle and ensure all documents are signed by the driver.
Confirming all lot #'s and qty's, where necessary

CSA inspections:

Arrange for all CSA required items to be inspected by our CSA representative.
Prepare the items for inspection prior to the inspectors arrival.
File all documentation regarding CSA inspections.
Apply CSA labels to the items at time of inspection.
