Bilingual IT Help Desk Responsibilities:

-Deliver service as part of the Service Desk, operating as a virtual Service Desk
-Operating as a virtual Service Desk
-Handling calls from multiple North American divisions on technical issues related to PCs,mainframe, networking, mid range, business applications, messaging, and security in a
fast-paced corporate environment
-Act as the single point of contact for all technical and application support calls, performing incident management, troubleshooting through to issue resolution.
-Provide professional and responsive telephone customer service to all employees who call for assistance
 
Bilingual IT Help Desk Requirements:

-Bilingual - English\French
-Technical school or 2-year Associate Degree required with equivalent experience; Bachelor Degree preferred.
-Strong oral and written communication skills
-Outstanding customer service experience and resourcefulness
-3 years help desk or technical support experience
-Must possess working knowledge of current technologies and strong analytical skills
-Recent, verifiable experience working with:
Desktop operating systems (Windows 10, 7) and remote control
-MS Outlook 2010/Exchange Server
-Security: password reset, authentication
-Remote Access (VPN)
-PC hardware configurations and diagnostics
- LAN/WAN technology

Additional Attributes:

-Certifications within discipline such as: Help Desk Institute (HDI), Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), IT Service Management (ITSM), MCSE, A+, Six Sigma, CMMI
-Business experience in manufacturing and/or sales and distribution; Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) a plus.
