Shipper/Receiver

Adecco is currently hiring for a Shipper Receiver to work in Markham ON. Our client is looking for a great team player to join their team.
 
Under general supervision receive, storage incoming orders for a wide scope of product lines from suppliers and distributors, process outgoing orders to customers, sales representatives and distributors. Additional duties are as follows:
Receiving:
- Check incoming goods against packing list
- Report any difference to purchasing agent/customer service reps
- store goods in stock locations, assigned by company computer system
Shipping:
- Pick orders according to pick ticket generated by company computer system
-Any difference from the pick ticket has to be recorded on pick ticket and when the ticket is confirmed in the company computer system changes have to be entered
- Picking ticket has to be confirmed in company computer system to generate a customer packing slip
- Pack customer order according to industry/courier requirements
- generate a shipping label/waybill on courier shipping system, if required hand writes
- Back up coverage for all warehouse areas
- Other tasks as assigned
