Adecco is currently hiring for a Senior Business Analyst in Downtown Toronto, ON. To qualify for this Senior Business Analyst role, you must have at least 6 years’ progressive business analysis experience within Treasury, Finance, Banking, Audit or Risk Management. This role will see you conduct feasibility studies and work flow analysis, recommending and implement workflow efficiencies to continually improve service quality and efficiency of operational business processes. This Senior Business Analyst role is a 6-month contract with a possibility of moving to permanent and has a payrate of $55.00 per hour.
Senior Business Analyst Responsibilities:
• Conduct feasibility studies and work flow analysis, investigate, analyze and define operational problems, recommend and implement solutions to improve processes and controls
• Provide meaningful data analytics and insightful analysis
• Lead workshops to elicit business requirements and document business processes and controls, identify, recommend and build consensus for changes, process improvements or enhancements
• Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and decompose high-level information into details
• Analyze bank file formats, define data mapping requirements, file transmission processes and controls
• Develop and execute test plans, test matrices and test cases; lead, direct and coordinate testing activities and facilitate issues resolution
• Write user guides and training materials and conduct training sessions
• Mentor and develop more junior staff members
• Research on best practice and solutions to meet business requirements and provide input to management on opportunities to improve operational effectiveness
• Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders and develop productive working relationships with key business partners
Senior Business Analyst Qualifications:
• Post-Secondary Degree / Certificate or equivalent
• Experience with Treasury, Finance, Banking, Audit or Risk Management
• 6+ years of progressive business analysis, systems analysis or business consultant experience supporting medium to large-sized complex projects or operational functions
• Business Analyst certification an asset
• Experience with Cash Management System or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation an asset
• Excellent research, analytical, reporting and problem solving skills
• Strong business acumen with a solid understanding of the business environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex ideas clearly to different levels of audience
• Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office Suite of products including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, MS Visio
• Demonstrated proficiency in XML and SWIFT ISO20022 File Formats an asset
• Experience in complex business process mapping and business process reengineering
• Experience in data mapping and systems integration implementation
• Proven ability to work in a deadline oriented environment
• Project a positive attitude and establish harmonious working relationships with team members, internal and external stakeholders
