Facilities Manager Perm Opportunity

Adecco is currently recruiting a Facilities Manager for our client in the Durham Region. This perm opportunity as a Facilities Manager would require working within a heavy manufacturing environment that operates 24 x 7. Overseeing a department of 10-18 unionized employees spread across the different shifts. This Facilities Manager in Durham Region would have experience as a Maintenance Manager with either a PEng degree or a diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering. This Facilities Manager MUST have at least 5 years experience in a manufacturing facility. A leader for the team of maintenance mechanics and tradespeople, this Facilities Manager must be a manager of people who is technically advanced in AutoCAD, and with SCADA and EAM systems as well. Excellent knowledge of Lean Principles and capital project budget handling is also required. The successful candidate for this Facilities Manger position would also be a great

PEng in Electrical Engineering or equivalent from a verifiable University
Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering from a verifiable College or trade school
5+ years' experience as a Facilities Manager
10-15 years working within a heavy manufacturing facility as Maintenance
Previous Supervisory experience in a unionized facility overseeing 10-18 tradespeople.
