Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant l $65K - $75K+ l Richmond, BC l Permanent
 
Adecco Professionals is partnered up with a reputable retail client to recruit for a Senior Accountant to facilitate the monthly reporting process by partnering with business functions to provide insightful variance analysis and commentary.

Responsibilities:
 
Support month-end and year-end close process, including preparing and recording journal entries and accruals
Complete balance sheet reconciliations with relevant supporting schedules
Reconcile and import payroll entries into accounting program
Analyze monthly financials and provide variance analysis
Process intercompany billing
Prepare working papers for the external review
Reconciling general ledger accounts and preparing weekly sales reporting. Furthermore
Preparation of the budget and forecast by coordinating, compiling, and updating key information.


Requirements:
 
Minimum three years related experience in a Senior Accountant/Analyst role
CPA (CA, CGA) Designation
Minimum intermediate knowledge of Microsoft office, particularly Excel
Excellent attention to detail, able to work with strict deadlines and keen to drive innovations
Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
Experience in retail environment is an asset
Experience with Syspro an asset
Ability to establish priorities, work and think independently, and proceed with objectives without direct supervision.
