Property Manager l Vancouver, BC l Permanent

Our client, a well-established real estate investment firm in downtown Vancouver is looking for a Property Developer who is licensed and enjoys mainly commercial but with some residential properties management. The successful candidate would enjoy plenty of flexibility in what they do and a competitive salary and benefits package and a high likelihood to grow the portfolio in a short period of time.

Responsibilities:


Act as the point of contact for all matters via email, phone, and site visits.
Approve all matters and problem solve any issues including but not limited to: budgets, tenant lease, rent roll, repairs and maintenance, capital expenses, renovation, legal, financial, insurance, licensing, etc.
Review monthly reports prepared by outsourced property managers.
Bring outsourced properties to in-house when applicable and feasible to do so.
Build and maintain In-house property management program through sourcing service providers and property management systems.


Requirements:


Minimum of 3 years’ experience in: Property management
Ability to communicate with lawyers, accountants, brokers/agents, outsourced property managers with business level materials related to all real estate matters.
Working knowledge of property accounting/bookkeeping: Financial statements, CAM reconciliation etc.
Ability to work independently. Knowing when to use best judgement to settle minor problems, while escalating major issues to executives.
Intermediate MS Office Suite Packages, i.e. Word, Excel
Yardi software experience an asset
Drivers license, and a vehicle required for site visits.
