Mechanical Assembler

Adecco is currently looking for a Mechanical Assembler for our client, Celestica in Newmarket, ON. To be considered for this position you must be able to perform component connections and wiring using hand tools such as screw drivers, torque wrenches and rivet guns. Additionally you must be able to set up and calibrate mechanical assembly tools used in the assembly process. This position also requires good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail. Pay rate up to $16.00/hr plus 4% vacation pay!
 
Mechanical Assembler Job Requirements
* Must have good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
* Able to perform a variety of mechanical assembly operations based on IPC and customer specifications.
* Able to verify mechanical dimensions and other features.
* Must be available for long term work; one year or longer

Must be able to work following shifts:
* Morning Shift: Monday-Friday 7am-3pm
* Evening Shift : Monday-Friday 3PM-11PM

Qualifications

* Basic computer skills
* Ability to stand/walk for entire shift and lift up to 35lbs.
* Clear criminal background
