Accounts Payable Process Improvement Manager

We are hiring for Account Payable Process Improvement Manager for Canada's leading professional services firms. The Accounts Payable Process Improvement Manager will be responsible for the management of AP related project activities and system enhancements and defects support. This is a 3-6-month contract and has pay rate $24.50 per hour.

Major Responsibilities:
•Support the Senior Manager, Accounts Payable & Travel & Expense to be the primary representative and Lead, supporting Procure to Pay related process improvements and issues.
•Provide leadership to manage process enhancements as it relates to master data, data integration reconciliations, Accounts Payable processing, payments processing, data admin management, data interfaces.
•Work closely with other AP & T&E managers to deliver quality, cost and productivity that meets or exceeds service level agreements. Identify and present solutions for continuous process improvement within a tight timeline.
•Foster teamwork and communication within and across organizational boundaries.
•Ensure that all business controls, processes are defined, documented, in place, and monitored in order to support corporate policies.

Qualifications:
•5-7 years relevant work experience
•Undergraduate Degree
•Strong knowledge of the Procure to Pay process and Financial System
•Implementation experience
•Extensive understanding of accounts payable and disbursement best practices
•Strong team player with the ability to meet strict deadlines
•Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills
•Effective written and oral communication skills
•Leadership ability to drive and inspire change
•Effective time management and planning skills
•Have a strong customer service focus and a strong sense of urgency for completeness of tasks
