Team Manager - Fundraising

Adecco is currently hiring for a Team Manager for our client located in Downtown Toronto, ON. In order to be considered for this position the successful candidate needs to have at least two years of management experience and at least four years in an outside sales or fundraising role, specifically in a non-profit, charitable or ethically driven company. Our client is an international fundraising agency that has been in business over 10 years in Canada and in the US.

The Team Manager drives revenue as well as the primary liaison between the internal and external clients. They will manage territorial sales and fundraising campaigns from top to bottom. As well, they will mentor and develop the field sales force from hiring to promotion.

The compensation package is a base salary of between $40, 000 and $45,000 plus a generous bonus structure dependent upon individual and team performance, 3 weeks’ vacation, full benefits, a chance to participate in an annual trip to visit one of the charity’s on-going projects in a developing country and continual training to their staff.


The Regional Team Manager Key Responsibilities Include:

Responsible for managing field reps, donors - both internal and external and roll out of new programs for both clients and field reps
Responsible for working with team to launch new campaigns, ensuring donor buy in and understanding and focus on full implementation
Ensures team goals are met by fundraising daily to secure monthly donations on behalf of a world renowned humanitarian organization.
Conduct ongoing interviews with the support of the recruitment team, classroom training sessions and provides on the job coaching and guidance to new fundraisers
Observe and appraise individual results, sets performance expectations and conducts performance evaluations with the intention of identifying potential Team Leaders.
Provides one on one coaching to rising Team Leaders and supports in the development of their individual teams.
Oversees the overall performance of multiple teams and ensures ethical fundraising practices are adhered to.
Oversees team logistics including; mapping out ideal territories to fundraise, tracking inventory.
Monitors daily motivational meetings and provides a platform for coaching opportunities, motivational discussions and mentoring
Provides feedback during weekly discussions regarding team performance, recruitment needs and employee concerns with the VP Business Development & Client Engagement and Director of Operations-Door to Door.
Addresses staff conflicts, including but not limited to resignation, termination, misconduct and directing any concerns to the manager and HR
Ability to travel across the region to provide support to multiple teams
Consistently able to meet campaign sales and implementation goals through mentoring and developing field teams
 
The Team Manager Mandatory Qualifications Include:


Two years of people management experience in a sales focused environment along with at least four years of outside sales or fundraising role, specifically in a non-profit, charitable or ethically driven company.
Superior organization, detailed, prioritization, independent work and time management skills
Have strong oral and written communication skills as will be interacting with various levels of donors and clients
Ability to work within a fast paced, customer centric environment with demanding and time sensitive projects
Have an entrepreneurial disposition along with some exposure to the fundraising industry
MS Office products proficiency
