ADMIN CLERICAL Disability Calculation Analyst

We are looking for a highly motivated, team-oriented individual to join our Disability team as a Calculation Analyst on a regular full time basis.

The position is bilingual required.

The Calculation Analyst position encompasses a variety of tasks that are vital to the management of our claimants' files.

Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
• Long Term Disability claim approvals
• Benefit Adjustments and follow up on overpayment of benefits.
• Financial duties such as stop payments, voids, refund deposits, Garnishments and processing TD1s

We are seeking an individual with the ability to grow and change with our dynamic business and who enjoys working in a team environment.

Qualifications

As the preferred candidate, you will possess:
• Bilingualism is required.
• Post-secondary education would be an asset
• Knowledge of medical terminology and/or insurance terminology would be an asset
• Experience with accounting, finance, payroll, bookkeeping, benefit payment or related duties
• 2 years previous experience in an administrative/clerical role would be an asset however University / College graduates would also be considered
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook / Office 365
• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
• Solid office administration skills would be an asset
• Strong customer service experience in a demanding environment would be an asset
• Excellent problem-solving and decision making skills and mathematical aptitude
• Analytical skills with a close attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Deadline driven

Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm
