CLAIMS ADMINISTRATOR

Adecco is currently hiring for Claims Administrator in downtown Toronto, ON. To qualify for this opportunity, you must have some call centre experience, Strong administrative skills, basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, word and Outlook and be flexible to work between 8am-9pm, Monday to Friday. This is a 3 month contract with a possibility of extension. PAY RATE- $16.50 plus 4% vacation pay

The Claims Administrator is responsible for assisting the campaign team by processing cheque requests through Accounts payable ensuring timely and accurate submissions, facilitating and scheduling the closing process phase of the project, contacting financial institutions to calculate offer details, review and validate the accuracy of the documents provided by the customers

Claims Administrator Major Responsibilities
o Review documents provided by customers to ensure all necessary documents are accurate and provided
o Schedule appointments via the scheduling system and reschedule as required.
o Maintain availability of closing appointments via system.
o Monitor closing schedule via system.
o Initiate calls to clients 20 days following the time the customer booked their appointment to discuss mileage, answer question, etc
o Ensure offer coordinator has paperwork in order for closing specialist.
o Respond to calls from dealers/settlement specialist, phone agents, claimants
o Interface with other roles
o Take on additional duties as required.
Education & Training
o High school degree required
o Strong knowledge of standard office PC applications (Outlook, Microsoft Office suite)
o Excellent communication skills
o Post-secondary studies an asset
Experience
o Minimum of one (1) year of experience in similar role
o Minimum of one (1) year of customer service required
o Minimum of one (1) year workforce planning experience desired
o Ability to navigate multiple systems and applications
o Ability to work independently
o Strong administrative skills
o Strong attention to detail
o Class action knowledge an asset
Working Conditions
o The environment is generally comfortable with exposure to normal levels of elements such as dust with minor fluctuations in heating or ventilation.
o There is minimal risk of injury to the incumbent
o Must be available to work between 8:00 AM EST and 9:00 PM EST, Monday through Sunday
