Junior Electrical System Designer

Adecco is currently recruiting for a Junior Electrical System Designer for a 12-month contract with for our Private client based in Montreal, QC.

Summary of the Job :
The Junior Electrical System Designer is responsible for delivering solutions that serve our customers’ needs while pushing the boundaries of technology.

Job description :
- Be part of a team responsible for the electrical design, packaging and support for flight simulator cockpit related electrical systems.
- Assist in the analysis of drawings, specifications and requirements from both internal/external customers.
- Assist in the definition of the simulator equipment configuration, produce equipment lists, wiring diagram and electrical system schematics required to stimulate this equipment in a simulation environment.
- Participate in design activities between engineering groups as well as manufacturing.
- Define and prepare technical documentation and drawings for simulated panels/instruments.
- Support third party suppliers and vendors.
- Participate in technical and conformance evaluations for simulated panels/instruments.
- Participate in requirement and design reviews (PDRs, CDRs).
- Participate in estimates.
- Provide technical solutions to meet project requirements.

Qualifications :
- Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of electrical engineering concepts.
- Good working knowledge of CAD systems and word processing/spreadsheet software’s.
- Good technical writing and communication skills.
- Good experience with electrical, avionic and power systems.
- Good experience with simulated panel and instrument interfaces.
- Experience with electrical signal distribution/interconnection technology, interface packaging, and power supply/distribution.
- Capacity to manage priorities in a context of multiple and complex project deliveries.
- Knowledge of aircraft instrumentation, D/A A/D conversion, serial communication data busses such as RS-232/422, USB, and of the ARINC 429, ARINC 600 and Mil-1553 standard would be considered an asset.
- Experience with E2A, SEE Electrical, Powerdraft an asset.
- Bilingualism required
