Adecco is currently hiring for a temporary on-going Forklift Operator in Trenton, Ontario and Belleville, Ontario. To qualify for this Forklift Operator role, you must have a minimum of 2 years of forklift experience. Our client is centrally located in Trenton, Ontario and requires people who are able to work rotating shifts and are comfortable working in a cold work environment. This position is ideal for candidates looking for a fast-paced position. Our client offers a shift premium for night and weekend shifts. Pay rate $14.00 per hour

Forklift Operator Responsibilities:
- reading and interpreting picking slips
- operating a forklift safely and efficiently
- accurate loading and unloading of incoming/outgoing product to ensure customer satisfaction
- following company procedures and ensuring health and safety regulations are met
- prioritize tasks, follow instructions, and work independently and effectively
- accurately document orders picked, damaged product, and outstanding product
Forklift Operator Qualifications:
- forklift truck license training; minimum 2 years forklift experience with some experience in the past year
- clean criminal record check
- working knowledge of computers
- ability to lift up to 50lbs
- ability to stand, bend, and twist throughout 8-hr shift
- ability to work in a cold environment
- steel toed boots required
