Benefits Administrator, Vancouver BC

Adecco have partnered with a very well-known, exhilarating company in Vancouver BC. They are currently looking for an experienced Benefits Administrator to come and join their team. This role is for an individual who possesses a strong work ethic and is always up for learning new skills and qualities. You must be able to identify problems and issues within the organisation and be able to solve them promptly and efficiently. While doing many tasks, your desire to help and guide others must shine through. You must have a 'business head', being able to use well-known programs and understand business process knowledge.
 
Benefits Administrator Responsibilities:
 
-Completes and ensures timely and accurate employee enrolments and benefit plan remittances according to the company's
-Benefits plan policies and provisions, insurance carriers portals and federal/province/state legislative requirements
-Assigns and maintains all employees benefit deductions and taxable benefits
-Updates and maintains benefits code configuration in HRIS and ensures timely and accurate annual benefits rate changes
-Conducts regular audits of employee records in HRIS, prepares timely adjustments & coordinates with payroll for processing as necessary
-Maintains accurate employee records and executes timely communications to ensure compliance
-Ensures employee benefits plan continuation on disability/LOA and severance, as per company policies/agreements; coordinates communications with vendors and payroll
-Ensure all annual mandatory health & retirement plan disclosures are timely updated, posted & communicated
 
Benefits Administrator Requirements:

-Minimum 1 years of progressive HR experience with Ultipro HRIS system
-Solid knowledge of payroll and benefits admin best practices
-Customer/employee service experience
-Desire to help others, good analytical abilities & excellent interpersonal skills
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Office suite, and SharePoint
-Demonstrated ability to work across functions, business units and geographies
-High attention to detail
