Heavy Industrial General Labourer

Adecco is a hiring temporary Heavy Industrial General Labourers in Belleville, Ontario. Candidate will be responsible various aspects of food processing and packaging. To be considered for this Heavy Industrial General Labourer position, you must be capable of standing, crouching, twisting, and bending during entire shift. This position is part of the processing/packaging of meat that will be made into items for consumption. Must be able to work comfortably in cold environments, and be comfortable working with raw meat. Adecco is looking to fill positions on day and night shifts; day shift starts at 6am and night shift starts at 6pm. Heavy Industrial General Labourer Responsibilities:
- handling of meat products for the purpose of packaging
- responsible for various aspect of food process and packaging
- working in a cold environment
- assembly line-style environment, performing repetitive work.
- Physical Effort: Continuously standing or walking, regular requirement to lift or handle or carry material.
- regular repetitive use of hands, wrists, arms, shoulders
- regular exposure to factors such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noise.
- maintaining a clean/safe work environment must be your top priority
- need to pay close attention, either hearing or seeing, to what is happening
 
Heavy Industrial General Labourer Qualifications:
- available to work 6am-2:30pm shift OR 6pm-2:30am
- ability to lift up to 50lbs
- ability to stand, bend, and twist throughout 8-hr shift
- clean criminal record check
- ability to work in a hot or cold environment
- steel toed boots (to be carried into building)
- no jewelry, heavy make-up or nail polish
