Adecco is currently hiring for a Vehicle Technician Assistant for our client in Peterborough. Our client is a well known automotive and residential glass repair company. This Vehicle Technician Assistant position pays $15.50 per hour. 3 week temporary assignment with the possibility of an extension.
Vehicle Technician Assistant Requirements:
- Must be able to pass Criminal check (Adecco will process)
- Full G license and clear drivers abstract a must
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong Customer Service
Vehicle Technician Assistant Responsibilities:
- "Wow-ing" the customer vehicles, which includes vacuuming the interior and cleaning the windows
- The application of Aquapel on windows, inspection of cabin air filters and installation of wipers
- Shuttling company and customer vehicles
- Support the completion of rock chip repairs and installation of windshields and door glass
- Ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the Service Centre is maintained
- Consistently meet or exceed technical standards and ensure that the company’s quality, safety and other procedures are complied with
- Consistently and strictly adhere to company Health and Safety procedures using the safety equipment provided
- Snow/ice removal when necessary
- Customer Service - must be presentable/ friendly and comfortable interacting with the public
