Inventory Support Clerk

Role: Adecco is looking for a The Inventory Support Clerk will be responsible for coordinating various aspects related to inventory accuracy and control. They will be required to analyze discrepancies and recommend corrective action in the distribution centre for a major Retail account. This individual should be highly motivated, self-directed and have the capability of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment. This role temporary to hire for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities include:

- Set up and coordinate daily cycle counts to ensure all primary locations are counted at least once per month
- Run Daily QC stats and Fill rate, as well as setup and enter Daily Store QC results in client AS400 system
- Run reports to measure accuracy and highlight discrepancies
- Creating locations, printing location labels and maintaining min-max of locations.
- Investigate discrepancies to determine root cause and recommend corrective action
- Recommend process improvements to improve accuracy and efficiency
- Setup Daily Sku Allocation and Daily Replenishment in WMS
- Perform adjustments as required and keep all relevant back-up
- Quarantine items as requested (i.e. recalls)
- Run reports to measure accuracy and highlight discrepancies using AS400
- Investigate and facilitate correction in AS400
- Responsible for making the necessary inventory adjustments for damage and expired products
- Identify inbound product discrepancies and work through to resolution
- Participate actively in continuous improvement (CI) initiatives
- Perform other duties assigned by Management

Qualifications include:

- Strong MS Excel, Access, and Outlook. AS400 experience would be an asset
- Flexibility to work in overtime, after hours (afternoons/ weekends ) etc. if required
- Experience in quality control and/or inventory control is an asset
- Works well in a team environment and independently.
- Highly motivated, self-directed, capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
- Forklift certificate (Cherry Order Picker, Double End Walkie, and others MHE would be an asset)
- Experience in a warehousing environment; ideally third party logistics
- CPIM designation an asset
