Intermediate Vulnerability Assessment Analyst

Adecco has an excellent permanent opportunity with leading IT Security solutions client; located in Ottawa, ON. The Intermediate Vulnerability Assessment Analyst will assist with the deployment of security tools and the integration of it into the existing network throughout the various departments.

Responsibilities:

- Provides assistance with the deployment and integration of Rapid 7 tool
- Have a solid understanding of cyber threats and forensic techniques to aid in the analysis of threats
- Ability to multitask and work in a team environment
- Software Maintenance and Support. Application System Administration.
- Manage Incident Response program including updates to standard, guidelines, procedures, classification, and escalation processes; maintain incident documentation and remediation tracking system.

Requirements:
- Bachelor¿s degree in Information Security
- Secret Security Level clearance
- Must have 3 years¿ minimum experience in vulnerability assessment
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical thinking skills
- Superb communication, interpersonal skills and collaborative skills a must
- Experience performing Security Test and Evaluation services for Federal or Commercial clients.
- Experience with Rapid7 tool
- Information Technology (IT) Security Certification and Accreditation (C&A) projects, which were completed within the last five (5) years
- Experience in Information Technology (IT) Security Threat and Risk Assessments (TRA) projects, which were completed within the last five (5) years.

The proposed candidate for the IT Security holds one of the following certifications:
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
- Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC)
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
