Warehouse Shipper Receiver with Forklift

Adecco is currently hiring shipper receiver candidates with valid forklift license. This Shipper receiver position is approximately 8 to 12 weeks. Our client located in Ajax is an Aerospace company that manufactures landing gear. The pay for this Shipper Receiver position is $22.89 per hour.

The Shipper Receiver person will Receive on dock supplier shipments; Enter receipts onto SAP including serial numbers as required and forward parts and paperwork accordingly; Load/unload trucks; Package and process outbound shipments to customers in a time sensitive environment; inspect all product to ensure parts conform to paperwork and travelers; all other related duties.

Shipper Receiver skills and requirements:

- Receive on dock supplier shipments
- Enter receipts onto SAP including serial numbers and batch numbers as required and forward parts and paperwork accordingly
- Load/unload Trucks
- Package and process outbound shipments to customers in a time sensitive environment
- Inspect all product to ensure parts conform to paperwork and travelers
- Proven problem solving skills and experience/exposure to lean manufacturing
- Ability to use hand and machine tools
- Self-motivated
- Able to work with little or no supervision
- The ability to work shifts when required
- Proven ability to work well with others in a team environment
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal a must

Skills and Core Competencies: Lifting and slinging experience; must be able to lift 50lbs on a regular basis; ability to use hand and machine tools; excellent computer & problem solving skills; self-motivated; able to multi-task & work with minimal supervision.

Education and/or Certifications: Valid Forklift license; Military Packaging knowledge and Dangerous Goods Packaging Certificate would be an asset

Shipper Receiver Work Experience:

- 3 to 5 years of Receiver Shipper experience in an aerospace or related manufacturing environment
- Understanding of US/Canada customs regulations a desired asset
- Knowledge and understanding of SAP receiving and shipping system an asset
