SENIOR STORES SERVICES PERSONNEL

Adecco is currently recruiting for a Senior Stores Services Personnel for a 36-week contract within the Federal Government. The Senior Stores Services Personnel must currently hold a valid security clearance at the secret level.

The Senior Stores Services Personnel will be responsible for:
- Perform daily work site inspection required by Health and Safety policies.
- Perform assigned work in accordance to instructions for handling and tracking of items
- Load and unload trucks, perform shipping and receiving tasks, work with wrapping equipment to ensure proper shipment of packages, warehouse material moving and handling, material restacking, quality control, administration and inventory control.
- Manipulate material(s) weighting approximately 50lbs.
- Operating basic tools, wrapping equipment and pallet jacks.
- Work with computer database and tracking software such as MS Office suite (Outlook, Word and Excel) validate area of storage of specific items.
- Accompany the delivery team in the minivan to offsite location(s) for deliveries to end user; load, unload and carry material to end user.
- Warehouse resource team members must have steel toe shoes.

The Senior Stores Services Personnel must meet the following mandatory requirements:
- Secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience is required
- Minimum of three years of experience in prioritizing workload and responding to daily warehouse requests and inquiries involving shipping and receiving, delivery, storage, restacking, wrapping skids of boxes
- Minimum of two years experience using software such as MS Office suite (Outlook, Word and Excel) to prepare correspondence, documents, electronically track shipments and maintain a detailed inventory spreadsheet
- Copy of certificates or recognized institution document as proof of WHMIS and Health and Safety
