BILINGUAL ADVANCED CONSTRUCTION SITE COORDINATOR


Adecco is currently recruiting for a Bilingual Advanced Construction Site Coordinator for a 36-week contract within the Federal Government. The Bilingual Advanced Construction Site Coordinator must currently hold a valid security clearance at the secret level.

The Bilingual Advanced Construction Site Coordinator will be responsible for:
- Daily supervision and guidance to the onsite warehouse resource teams as directed.
- Daily coordination of priorities and tasks with representatives.
- Supervise attendance and working hours, organize resource(s) health breaks schedule and manage timesheets and attendance.
- Report for any onsite issues with the warehouse resource team(s).
- Direct daily tasks to the warehouse resources.
- Ensure all Health and Safety (H&S) policies are applied onsite and to all team members. Report any issues and / or risks.
- Perform daily work site inspection required by H&S policies and chair H&S meetings accordingly.
- Ensure warehouse resource team(s) is/are working accordingly to instructions for handling and tracking.
- Load and unload trucks, perform shipping and receiving tasks, work with wrapping equipment to ensure proper shipping of applicable items.
- Track packages, warehouse material moving and handling, material restacking, quality control, administration and inventory control.
- Lifting material weighting approximately 50lbs.
- Operating basic tools, wrapping equipment, pallet jacks and forklift.
- Working with computer database and tracking software such as MS Office suite (Outlook, Word and Excel) to validate area of storage of specific items, report of warehouse state.
- Report project authority daily/weekly progress of resource team(s) and material management.
- Warehouse resource team members must have steel toe shoes

The Bilingual Advanced Construction Site Coordinator must meet the following mandatory requirements:
- Secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience
- Minimum of ten years of relevant experience
- Minimum of three years experience in prioritizing workload and responding to daily warehouse requests and inquiries involving shipping and receiving, delivery, storage, restacking, wrapping skids of boxes
- Minimum of two years experience in a supervisory role/capacity to a team of 15-20 workers
- Minimum of two years experience driving/operating a 5-ton truck
- Minimum of two years experience using software such as MS Office suite (Outlook, Word and Excel) to prepare correspondence, documents, electronically track shipments and maintain a detailed inventory spreadsheet.
- Copy of certificate(s) or recognized institution document as proof of:
o Electric Pallet Lift
o Forklift
o WHMIS
o First Aid
o Health and Safety
- Valid vehicle licence Class G, clear driving record abstract and current liability insurance
