ADVANCED STORES SERVICES PERSONNEL

Adecco is currently recruiting for an Advanced Stores Services Personnel for a 36-week contract within the Federal Government. The Advanced Stores Services Personnel must currently hold a valid security clearance at the secret level.

The Advanced Stores Services Personnel will be responsible for:
- Perform daily site inspection required by Health and Safety policies for forklift operational use;
- Work accordingly to instructions for handling and tracking items.
- Perform warehouse work including load and unload trucks, perform shipping and receiving tasks, work with wrapping equipment to ensure proper shipping packages, warehouse material moving and handling, material restacking, quality control, administration and inventory control.
- Manipulate material weighting around 50lbs.
- Operating basic tools, wrapping equipment, pallet jacks as well as a forklift.
- Work with computer database and tracking software such as MS Office suite (Outlook, Word and Excel), validate area of storage of specific items, report of warehouse state.
- Drive the Cube van and or minivan to offsite location for deliveries to end user
- Warehouse resource team members must have steel toe shoes.

The Advanced Stores Services Personnel must meet the following mandatory requirements:
- Secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience
- Minimum of five years of relevant experience
- Minimum of three years experience in prioritizing workload and responding to daily warehouse requests and inquiries involving shipping and receiving, delivery, storage, restacking, and wrapping skids of boxes
- Minimum of two years experience driving/operating a 5-ton truck,
- Minimum of two years experience using a forklift.
- Minimum of two years experience using software such as MS Office suite (Outlook, Word and Excel) to prepare correspondence, documents, electronically track shipments and maintain a detailed inventory spreadsheet
- Copy of certificate(s) or recognized institution document as proof of:
o Electric Pallet Lift
o Forklift
o WHMIS
o First Aid
o Health and Safety
- Valid vehicle licence Class G, clear driving record abstract and current liability insurance Copy
