JUNIOR COMPENSATION CLERK


Adecco is currently recruiting for a Junior Compensation Clerk for a 11-month contract within the Federal Government. The Junior Compensation Clerk must currently hold a valid security clearance at the reliability level.

The Junior Compensation Clerk will be responsible for:

- Requires the assistance of Junior Compensation Clerks and/or Intermediate Finance Clerksto provide Human Resources Compensation support. In addition, the candidate will contribute and augment the Pay accounting unit capacity in dealing with the existing work
- Review of pay transactions in Peoplesoft pay interface
- Pay transaction verification in Salary Forecasting tool
- Prepare Accounts Payables and Accounts Receivables Interdepartmental Settlements for Secondments, Interchanges, Transfers-In and Transfers-out
- Salary Journal Vouchers
- Calculation and verification of special deductions eg. Union dues, AMEX recoveries
- Salary advances
- Respond to questions and provide guidance to clients

The Junior Compensation Clerk must meet the following mandatory requirements:

- High school diploma is required
- 1 year of relevant experience working in compensation role
- Be fluent in English and in French
- Security clearance at reliability level is required
