Reporting to the V.P. of Training and Development in North America, this position provides administrative and coordination support for the NA Training team in order to assist with the delivery of training resources to all staff. This position is also accountable for the management of training support systems (TotaraLMS, Intranet, SkillSoft, Service Point and PeopleSoft).
Major Responsibilities:
Materials and Resources:
- General training administrative duties related to supporting the NA team
- Coordinate translations with the translation team.
- Publish monthly newsletter
Training Systems and tools:
- Main administrator for TotaraLMS and SkillSoft.
- Ongoing maintenance, support and integrity of data in systems.
- Manage and respond to communications via the NA training mailbox.
- Responsible for the T&D Intranet pages on SharePoint (English and French)
External Training:
- External training management
- Main contact for external vendors
Statistics & Reports:
- Recordkeeping and reporting for the Skills on Development Act.
- Production of weekly and monthly training statistics and reports.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Post-secondary diploma required, combined with courses in Administration preferred.
- Strong knowledge of PC applications (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.) required.
- Learning Management System (LMS) experience preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in French and English are required – oral & written.
- Minimum 1 year administrative experience, preferably in a Training or Human Resources department.
- Strong organizational skills.
