Adecco is currently recruiting a Junior Network Analyst holding a Secret Security Clearance for a seven-month contract with a possibility of extension in Québec, QC. The Junior Network Analyst has to be bilingual in both French and English.
Some of the duties of the Junior Network Analyst are:
Provide telecommunication support, including:
- Act as the lead designer of the IP network architecture of the lab infrastructure(s) and prototypes developed.
- Perform network monitoring, optimization and maintenance/trouble shooting;
- Provide technical support for the design, implementation, operation and training on the different Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) systems and other virtualization technologies as well as boot from Local Area Network (LAN) systems;
- Support the production of technical specifications for the procurement of networking/computing items;
- Provide support for the selection, procurement specifications, setup, maintenance and operation & training for Storage Area Network (SAN/NAS/JBOD) related technologies;
- Provide support for the selection, procurement specifications, setup, maintenance and operation & training for security appliances including but not limited to In-line Network Encryption, IP Security/tunneling, Cross Domain Solutions (CDS)/High Assurance Guards, firewalls, authentication systems; Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS) and self-encryption drives/disk encryption software; PWGSC Professional Services ACF Page 9 of 32 Ver 2.3e March 2013
- Provide support on wireless/radio networking devices including but not limited to secure Wi-Fi, Common Data Links (CDL), Tactical Data Links (TDL), mesh radios, SATCOM and Free Space Optical (FOS) Communication
Provide technical support on any other aspects of the lab and prototypes computing & communication systems as directed by the TA, including without being limited to:
- Contribute to requirements engineering activities, which include the formulation, documentation, maintenance and, verification and validation (v&v) of technical requirements.
- Identification of applicable standards against which a system or laboratory is to be developed and/or modified.
Some of the mandatory technical criterias of the Junior Network Analyst are:
- 3 years of practical experience in the computer, networks and security domains. Practical Experience implies that the incumbent has designed, implemented and maintained wireless communication systems.
- 1 year of practical experience in requirement management, which includes formulating, documenting, maintaining and verifying/validating (V&V) technical requirements.
- 2 years demonstrated experience in the last ten (10) years: Working with security appliances including systems such as In-line Network Encryption (INE), Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), Firewalls and Authentication Systems.
- 2 years demonstrated experience in the last ten (10) years: Working with security appliances including systems such as In-line Network Encryption (INE), Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), Firewalls and Authentication Systems.
- Willing to travel abroad or domestically (across Canada and USA) in the conduct of assigned works.
