Customer Service Representative

Adecco is looking for permanent full time Customer Service Representative positionin Montreal, QC to provide supplemental on-site service and support for sales representatives in the areas of conversions, ordering stock, putting orders away, and expediting special product or service situations.

Our client is one of North America’s leading distributors of metalworking and maintenance, repair and operations solutions. Minimal experience required as the client has an extensive training program that each Customer Service Representative attends in North Carolina. 

Customer Service Representative Requirements:
- Customer service and sales ability preferred
- Attention to detail in order to verify incoming order accuracy.
- Exhibit basic math skills and ability to organize and manage time appropriately.
- Unpack orders, check accuracy of shipment and put stock away at customer locations
- Requires normal dexterity, strength, coordination and vision inherent in factory and/or office work
- Ability to read technical material, have solid verbal and written communication skills, and be computer literate with ability to use PC based order entry system and wireless handheld scanners.
- Technical product knowledge preferred
- relevant to the markets being served, including but not limited to fasteners, chemicals, industrial maintenance supplies, electrical, food processing, manufacturing, etc.
-A valid driver’s license with a vehicle and the ability to travel up to 85% of the time traveling to customer and prospect sites typically in an assigned territory and region are required.

Customer Service Representative Qualifications: To be considered for this full time Customer Service Representative position in Montreal, QC, Candidate must have a minimum of high school education (diploma/GED) preferred, similar sales/service experience of one to two years is preferred.
