Senior Bilingual Analyst

Adecco is currently recruiting a Senior Business Analyst for a 8-month contract with a possibility of extension in Ottawa, ON. The candidate must hold a reliability Security Clearance.

The Business Analyst must meet the following mandatory criteria:

- A minimum of ten (10) years of experience within the last fifteen (15) years working as a Business Analyst, managing Enterprise level data warehouses.
- A minimum of ten (10) years of experience within the last fifteen (15) years, utilizing Business Intelligence (BI) Tools to retrieve, analyze and report data.
- A valid degree or diploma relating to Business Administration, Economics or Computer Science from a recognized university or college OR have a valid CCBA (Certification of Competency in Business Analysis) or CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) from IIBA (International Institute of Business Analysis)
- An experience as a Business Analyst in designing, implementing or upgrading corporate reporting systems in Government of Canada (GOC) or private sector organization.
- An experience in analyzing data and producing reports in response to requests from Senior Management at the minimum level of Senior Director within the GOC for project value in excess of $20M.
- A minimum of 3 years experience within the last 10 years using the following tools: Cognos Business Intelligence, AmericanExpress@work, or equivalent tool used by large travel management companies such as HRG, Carlson Wagonlit, or BCD Reporting, Microsoft Access, Concur Expense Reporting
- An experience I developing automated reports used to manage and analyses data, provide recommendations, or identify issues and provide solutions.
- An experience in delivering in person (one on one or group) training to clients and/or users within the last 5 years.
- An experience working on an integrated end-to end travel management solution within the last ten (10) years.
 
The Business Analyst will perform the following tasks:
- Manage the collection and compilation of travel data and expense management data in support of the STS departmental business reviews with client departments;
- Gather and analyze information about the various data reporting tools to support quality assurance and business modeling related to data management and business case updates.
- Gather and analyze data from the various reporting tools to support business modeling related todata management and business case updates, as it pertains to data integrity, data integration, validating, and auditing.
- Liaise with STS contractor on business issues, and client training requirements pertaining to reporting and travel information systems;
- Analyze and interpret travel data and expense management data to identify performance trends, and key performance indicators, and prepare various travel management reports for distribution to stakeholders;
- Research, design, and implement complex data management methodologies to merge data and information from multiple systems representing an estimated $1.5 Billion in travel program spending;
- Attend program related briefings and meetings and provide meeting summaries; Develop automated reports to assist in measuring STS program efficiency and adoption in order to identify issues and solutions.
- Analyze business processes and develop strategies for re-engineering business procedures, implementing business rules, and implementing global system configurations.
